Change the physical dimensions of every PDF page
Resizing changes the physical dimensions of PDF pages, such as converting US Letter to A4. The tool scales page content to the chosen width and height. If the target has a different aspect ratio, that scaling can alter proportions; inspect the result for stretched text, images and margins before printing or submitting it. This operation changes page geometry, not the underlying purpose of the document.
Prepare a document for a required paper size
- Prepare a Letter PDF for A4 paper or the reverse
- Match dimensions requested by a printer, publisher or submission portal
- Give PDF files from different sources a consistent page size
- Use dimensions that are not available as a standard preset
Frequently asked questions
Will resizing distort my content?
It can. Content is scaled to the selected width and height. When the original and target aspect ratios differ, text and images may look wider or taller. Preview important pages before using the result.
Does this change the file size significantly?
Changing page geometry is not a compression method. The output may be similar in size, but PDF structure, document complexity and the way content is rewritten can make it somewhat larger or smaller.
Can I enter a size that isn't in the preset list?
Yes. Choose "Custom size…" and enter the required width and height in millimeters. Verify the specification supplied by your printer or platform.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. JavaScript processes the PDF locally in your browser. Rebuilding a signed document may invalidate its digital signatures, so retain the original.
