About Orisod

Straightforward tools for working with images, PDFs and everyday files.

What we do

Orisod Labs brings focused file tools together in one place. You can resize an image, reorganize a PDF or handle another specific task without installing software or opening an account.

Why Orisod exists

Online image and PDF converters are easy to find. Clear ones are not. Many bury the useful control behind ads, require an account halfway through the task or send you elsewhere for the next step. Orisod is our attempt to make that experience simpler: practical tools, a consistent interface and local file processing whenever the task supports it.

Your files stay on your device

Orisod processes files in your browser with JavaScript. The images and documents you select are not sent to our servers to complete the conversion or edit.

Orisod includes open-source software, including PDF.js, pdf-lib, jsPDF, SheetJS, Tesseract.js, and heic2any. HEIC to JPG uses heic2any, which bundles libheif and libde265 under the GNU LGPL-3.0; the notice, license texts, and source code are linked below. The full list of libraries, versions, and licenses is in the library manifest.

GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics service that uses no cookies, helps us understand which pages people visit and which tools they use. It does not receive the contents of the files you process. Read our privacy policy for details.

What we are building next

We continue to add tools and improve existing ones around real file-handling problems. If a tool is missing or something could work better, tell us what would help. If you'd like to help fund that work, our support page is there for anyone who wants to, entirely optional.
