Work with fields already built into the PDF
The tool reads AcroForm fields embedded in the PDF and places the corresponding controls over the rendered page. Enter text, select checkboxes or radio buttons and choose dropdown values, then use โFlatten & Downloadโ to place the responses into static page content. The output is no longer fillable through those fields, but flattening is not encryption and does not prevent determined editing with other software.
When an interactive form needs a completed copy
- Complete a PDF application or intake form without printing it
- Fill an AcroForm from a phone or computer without Adobe Acrobat
- Create a non-fillable PDF copy that reduces accidental changes to responses
Frequently asked questions
What if my PDF has no fillable fields?
Some documents only draw lines and boxes that resemble a form. If no interactive fields are embedded, the tool reports that none were found instead of guessing where inputs belong. Such a file cannot be completed with this field-based workflow.
Does this support digital signature fields?
No. Cryptographic digital-signature fields are not completed here and appear disabled in the preview. To place a handwritten or uploaded signature image instead, use the Sign PDF tool.
Will calculated fields or form validation still work?
No. The tool does not execute embedded PDF JavaScript used for calculations, validation or relationships among fields. Verify totals, required answers and mutually exclusive choices yourself before downloading.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Reading, completing and flattening the PDF all happen locally in your browser.
