What does this tool do?

Calendar Generator builds a printable, 12-month PDF calendar for any year, one month per page. Pick a country to automatically fill in its public holidays, toggle on religious dates from Christianity, Judaism, Islam, or Hinduism, add your own one-off events, and optionally drop in a photo for each month. Download the finished calendar as a single PDF, ready to print.

When should you use this tool?

  • You want a printable wall calendar with your own family photos
  • You need a work or school calendar with the right country's public holidays already filled in
  • You want religious observances marked automatically instead of looking each one up
  • You want a quick, free calendar without opening a design app

Frequently asked questions

Why do Islamic dates have a disclaimer but Jewish and Hindu dates don't?
The Islamic (Hijri) calendar traditionally depends on local moon sighting, so different countries and communities can announce the same date up to a day apart, and any calculated date is a well-informed approximation. The modern Hebrew calendar uses fixed mathematical rules, so its dates can be calculated consistently in advance. The system developed over centuries and reached its present form during the early medieval period.
Can I generate more than one year in a single PDF?
Not in this version. Each download covers one calendar year, one month per page.
What if my country isn't in the list?
You can still build a calendar without automatic public holidays, and add any dates you need manually using the custom events section.
Where do I get candle-lighting times for Jewish holidays?
That lives on the dedicated Hebrew Calendar Generator, linked from the Judaism toggle above. It adds location-based candle-lighting and tzeit hakochavim times, and the weekly Torah portion, on top of everything already shown here.
Are my photos or custom events uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photos, custom events, and generated calendar are processed locally and are not uploaded to Orisod.
