Add a text watermark to your photo — single placement or repeated across the whole image. Everything happens locally in your browser.
What does this tool do?
This tool overlays custom text onto your image, either as a single watermark in one position or repeated diagonally across the entire photo — a common way to discourage unauthorized use of a photo while still allowing it to be viewed and shared.
When should you use this tool?
- You're sharing photography samples publicly and want your name attached
- You need to mark a document or image as a draft, sample, or confidential
- You want to protect a photo from being reused without credit
- You're branding a set of images with a consistent watermark
Why use Orisod for this?
Choose a single position or a repeated tiled pattern for stronger coverage, and adjust text, size, opacity, and color with a live preview. Everything happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API — your photo is never uploaded to a server.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between single and tiled watermarks?
Single places your text once in a chosen corner or center. Tiled repeats the text diagonally across the whole image, making it much harder to crop out — common for protecting photography samples.
Can I make the watermark subtle?
Yes, lower the opacity slider for a lighter, less intrusive watermark, or increase it for a bolder, more visible one.
Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No, the entire process happens locally in your browser using JavaScript.
Can I add a logo image instead of text?
This tool currently supports text watermarks only. For adding a logo image, use an image editor or check back as we add more tools.
